A Wave of Strategic Investment

The provincial leadership officially handed over investment approval decisions for 9 key projects. This massive capital injection, backed by nine major investors, is targeted at four strategic pillars:

  • Urban development
  • High-quality tourism
  • Energy
  • Industrial zones

Beyond these immediate commitments, the conference also saw 13 other corporations sign Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs), signaling a robust pipeline of future capital ready to flow into the region.

Vision for a "Super-Region"

Looking ahead to the 2025-2030 period, Lam Dong has released a priority list of 72 projects calling for investment. The focus is on transport infrastructure, clean energy, high-tech agriculture, and luxury tourism.

These moves are designed to power the "New Lam Dong"—an expanded administrative and economic zone formed following the strategic merger with Binh Thuan and Dak Nong provinces.

With a combined natural area of 24,000 square kilometers, the New Lam Dong is now the largest province in the country. It boasts a unique geographical advantage, converging three distinct ecosystems: the highlands, the midlands, and the coast. Possessing forests, seaports, and international border gates, the province is positioning itself as a "golden" growth engine for Vietnam.

Commitment to Reform

Mr. Ho Van Muoi, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, emphasized the administration's unwavering commitment to business support.

"We are dedicated to drastically reforming the business environment," the Chairman stated. He promised to simplify administrative procedures, offer competitive incentives, and upgrade essential infrastructure to ensure investorsuccess.

This record-breaking investment figure is viewed not just as a financial win, but as a strong vote of confidence in Lam Dong's potential to transform into acomprehensive economic hub in the near future.
