Strategic Moves: Financial Centers and Free Trade

Cityleadership is aggressively pushing forward with two "game-changing"long-term projects:

1.     DaNang Free Trade Zone (FTZ): Implementing the master plan to establish a dedicated zone for trade and logistics.

2.     International Financial Center: Setting up the advisory council and preparatory board to launch a Vietnam International Financial Center, alongside hosting the Vietnam Financial Forum 2025.

The Final Push for 2025

To guarantee the double-digit growth target, Da Nang is focusing on four critical priorities for the remainder of the year:

  • Pilot Programs: Launching trial operations for the International Financial Center and prioritizing strategic sectors within the new Free Trade Zone.
  • Public Spending: Accelerating public investment projects is a top political task (currently, only 50.4% of the allocated budget has been spent).
  • Tourism Blitz: Promoting Da Nang heavily as a year-end destination with festivals and events in the city center and major tourist spots to capture holiday travelers.
