As planned, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province will implement 37 key projects in the next term (including 16 public investment projects and 21 projects calling for investment).

Among 37 key projects, the province has identified 10 projects and works expected to start / auction / bid before June 2020, including 3 public investment projects, of which, notably Project on dredging and rebuilding infrastructure of Ben Dinh canal area (Vung Tau city) and 7 projects calling for investment, including many high-impact projects such as Go Gang urban area, Logistics Center Cai Mep Ha and auctioned some land areas in the city. In the next phase, the province continued to deploy 13 public investment projects and 14 projects calling for investment. Notably, the provincial infrastructure projects such as Long Son - Cai Mep, 991B - Package 37 from Highway 51 to Mo Nhat bridge (Phu My), Co Ong airport (Con Dao), Go Gang airport (Vung Tau City); infrastructure projects connecting the region such as Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway, Phuoc An Bridge (Phu My). In particular, the province will set up an auction project of Ben Dinh isle, which is considered a pearl island. As planned, this will be a high-class ecological residential complex, expanding Vung Tau urban area to the northwest.

Along with the planning and allocation of capital for public investment projects to upgrade and expand infrastructure for socio-economic development, Ba Ria - Vung Tau has now made a list of 21 projects calling for investment (including 7 projects identified to be implemented before June 2020) to raise capital from economic resources, to stimulate the potential and promote the province's strengths.

Along with infrastructure projects, the province is calling for investment in regional tourism projects such as Safari Project. This project is selected to pilot bidding to select investors. Department of Tourism of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province is assigned to be the project tenderer to carry out investor selection procedures; Department of Planning and Investment of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province appraises plans for selecting investors, applications for prequalification, prequalification results, bidding documents, request for proposals, list of eligible investors, technical requirements and investor selection results submitted to the provincial People's
Committee for approval.
