On the morning of April 22, within the framework of the business trip to Vietnam from April 22 to April 23 of the Zhengzhou Medical Equipment Association (China), to promote investment and trade cooperation inthe field of medical equipment with Vietnamese enterprises, the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency organized the program "Discussion and trade with business delegation of Zhengzhou Medical Equipment Association (China)".

On the Chinese side, there was Mr. Niu Liuquan - Chairman of Zhengzhou Medical Equipment Association and representatives of 23 businesses in the field of medical equipment from Zhengzhou.
Delighted to welcome the Association delegation to survey the medical equipment market in Vietnam, Deputy Director, Mr. Nguyen Ba Hai expressed his hope that the Association delegation of 23 Chinese enterprises will survey the market and move forward with investment cooperation in the field of medical equipment sector, bringing many health care values to serve the Vietmamese community and people.

Mr. Nguyen Ba Hai indicated that Vietnam's economy focuses on foreign trade growth based on foreign direct investment motivation, with a stable macroeconomic model and maintaining high growth rate in the context of the fact that the economic recession is over 5%, is equivalent to China's growth rate. In particular, in the first 3 months of 2024, total import-export turnover reached about 178.04 billion USD, up 15.5% over the same period, with a record export surplus of8.08 billion USD. He affirmed the close connection and investment advantages between the economies of Vietnam and China.

On the morning of April 23, the delegation of Zhengzhou Medical Equipment Association had a working session and surveyed medical examination and treatment facilities, medical equipment at Dong Do hospital. Welcoming the delegation were Mr. Tang Duc Cuong- Director of the Reproductive Support Center of Dong Do Hospital, along with heads/deputies of specialized departments: medical examination department,internal medicine department, surgical department, ophthalmology department, paraclinical department, pharmaceuticals and supplies.
