On February 26, 2023, Hoa Binh Provincial People's Committee organized the Investment Promotion Conference of Hoa Binh Province in 2023 with the theme "Hoa Binh province – A Sustainable Investment Destination". The conference was attended by Mr. Pham Minh Chinh – Politburo member and Prime Minister of Vietnam; Representatives of leaders of central ministries and branches; Leaders of Hoa Binh province; representatives of Departments, Boards, Provincial Branches; and invited business representatives.
Speaking at the conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized the accomplishments that Hoa Binh province has achieved. The achievements and results of socio-economic development and investment attraction of the province make an important contribution to the overall achievements of the whole country. The Prime Minister also highlighted some important contents that: "Hoa Binh must reserve favorable lands for production and business development, because only with the development of production and business, there will be jobs created and salary earned; When there are jobs created and salary earned, people will come to work; When there are people come to work, they will come to live as well; When people come to live, they will buy houses; Only those who buy houses can develop urban areas; Only when urban areas are developed can the real estate business be evolved”.
Besides, Hoa Binh Provincial People's Committee also granted investment policy decisions for 15 projects with a total capital of 47 000 billion VND.
Also on the same day, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended the groundbreaking ceremony of the route linking Hoa Binh-Hanoi region and Son La highway (Hoa Binh - Moc Chau).
According to the approval, the route is about 50 km long. Section 1 of the route is more than 31 km long, connects from Bo town (Kim Boi) with Hoa Lac-Hoa Binh highway. Section 2 is about 19 km long, connecting from Ky Son ward (Hoa Binh city) to the IC2 – the planned intersection of Hanoi-Hoa Binh-Son La-Dien Bien expressway (Hoa Binh-Moc Chau section). The project is invested by Hoa Binh province with a total investment of 4,120 billion VND which comes from the central and local capital, of which phase 1 is invested with 1,829 billion VND and expected to be completed in 2027. This is a key project of Hoa Binh province, which is tremendously important for socio-economic development, assured national defense and security of Hoa Binh province and other localities in the region, as well as connecting with Hanoi.
