Long An province promotes investment in many projects in Australia

From September 24, 2022 to September 30, 2022, Long An province, led by Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council - and representatives of more than 150 Australian and Vietnamese businesses operating in Australia, together with the delegation of Long An province attended the Investment Promotion Conference of Long An province in Australia.

At the investment promotion conference, Long An province introduced about the province's environment and investment attraction situation, along with the geographical advantages of Long An province compared to other provinces and cities in terms of transportation and infrastructure in order to attract foreign investment. This introduction has been highly appreciated, and gained deep concern from Australian investors and the Vietnamese business community in Australia.


At the conference, the signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding on the signing of a strategic partnership agreement on planning, architecture and technology consulting for the Phuoc Dong smart urban area project, with an area of 190 hectares, in Phuoc Dong commune, Can Duoc district, Long An province was held between IMG Phuoc Dong Joint Stock Company and Elenberg Fraser Australia Company.

Accordingly, the signing ceremony of strategic cooperation between Nam Long and Conybeare Morrison Company and White Corp Company was held, with the 355 ha-Waterpoint-Project in Long An (with the total investment for phase 1 is 15,000 billion VND) and the 170 ha-Izumi-Project in Dong Nai (with a total investment of 21,000 billion VND), which are the first large-scale integrated urban area projects of Nam Long, meeting the settlement needs of tens of thousands of households according to the principle of sustainability in all three aspects: economy, society and environment. These projects are shaped as satellite urban areas that both support population expansion for Ho Chi Minh City, while contributing to the urban appearance and improving the living quality of people in provinces and cities in the Mekong Delta.

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Long An Province - Nguyen Van Duoc - congratulated Nam Long Group and its partners on signing a strategic cooperation agreement. He believes that the projects will soon become reality and will be smart cities in the near future./.
