On June 24, 2022, Gilimex Industrial Park Joint Stock Company (Gilimex IP) worked with the People's Committee of Dong Thap province on a proposal to invest in an industrial park in Lap Vo district with an area of 674 hectares.
Recently, Dong Thap has achieved very encouraging economic results, with an average annual growth rate among the top in the Mekong Delta. That achievement is based on a significant contribution of the business community and investors in effectively exploiting potentials and promoting advantages for the development of enterprises in particular and Dong Thap province in general. Gilimex IP wishes to invest in an industrial park that meets the criteria of green and clean, attracting secondary investors in light and advanced industry with modern technology, serving the production and processing of products key products with competitive advantages of the Mekong Delta region.
At the meeting, Dong Thap province highly appreciated the investment ideas, especially the orientation of industries which are suitable for the province, helping to increase the value of agricultural products, and at the same time expected the ideas soon to be implemented and this industrial park will be a model one of the province. The province also committed to create all favorable conditions for investors to soon implement the project, and has assigned the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board to act as the focal point to support investors in implementing the next steps.
