HO CHI MINH CITY APPROVES INVESTMENT PLAN FOR INFRASTRUCTURE IN MY XUAN B1 – DAI DUONG INDUSTRIAL PARK

The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has just issued a decision to lease a land area of over 44,700 m² (approximately 4.47 hectares) located in Tan Thanh and Phu My wards to Dai Duong Investment and Construction Entertainment Joint Stock Company for the implementation of the My Xuan B1 - Dai Duong Industrial Park infrastructure development project.

The land is designated for industrial park development, with an exploitation period until December 1, 2056. The company will fulfill its financial obligations in the form of annual land lease payments. Notably, the project will benefit from preferential land lease policies for a total period of 17 years, including the basic construction phase and the preferential period for industries on the list of specially encouraged investment in areas with difficult socio-economic conditions as stipulated by current regulations.

Authorities require the investor to fully comply with all land and environmental protection laws during land use. Construction of project components must be approved by the competent authority and must conform to the approved project content and design.

The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to lead and coordinate with local authorities to determine the boundaries and hand over the land to the enterprise for project implementation. In addition, relevant agencies such as the City Land Registration Office are responsible for updating and completing cadastral records and land data according to regulations.

The Management Board of Export Processing Zones and Industrial Parks of Ho Chi Minh City is tasked with reviewing and adjusting the contents related to the investment registration certificate of the project (if necessary) to ensure consistency during implementation.

The My Xuan B1 - Dai Duong Industrial Park covers an area of over 145 hectares and is oriented towards attracting diverse industries, prioritizing clean projects with minimal environmental impact. The project received investment approval in 2005 and was assigned to Dai Duong Entertainment Construction Investment Joint Stock Company as the investor.

However, the implementation process has encountered difficulties in land clearance in some areas, leading to delays in project progress.
