The Tam Anh – An An Hoa Industrial Park project, with a total investment of over 4,150 billion VND, will be a driving force for industrial development in southern Da Nang.
On March 29th, An An Hoa Industrial and Urban Development Joint Stock Company (a member of Geleximco Group) held a groundbreaking ceremony for the investment, construction, and operation of infrastructure in the Tam Anh – An An Hoa Industrial Park in Tam Anh commune, Da Nang city.
The project covers approximately 436 hectares, with an estimated total investment of over 4,152 billion VND. This is one of the rare industrial parks that simultaneously possesses five types of transportation connections: road, rail, air, international maritime, and inland waterway. In addition to a comprehensively invested technical infrastructure system, the industrial park is also planned with modern internal amenities to meet the production and service needs of businesses.
With a development orientation towards an eco-friendly, modern, and integrated industrial park model, ensuring high environmental standards, the Tam Anh – An An Hoa Industrial Park is expected to become an attractive destination for domestic and foreign investors.
According to Mr. Vu Van Hau, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Geleximco Group, the project is oriented towards developing an advanced industrial park model, in line with the current trend of green transformation, digital transformation, and the shift in global production chains.
The industrial park prioritizes attracting high-tech industries, clean industries, and sectors with high added value such as electronics, mechanical engineering, automobile and vehicle manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, materials, deep processing, logistics, and support services. At the same time, the project encourages the application of a circular economy model, prioritizing environmentally friendly projects that align with the orientation of green and sustainable industrial development.
The investor's representative also affirmed that they would focus on implementing the project with a high sense of responsibility, ensuring progress, quality, full compliance with legal regulations, and paying attention to environmental factors and sustainable development.
According to Mr. Phan Thai Binh, Vice Chairman of the Da Nang City People's Committee, the commencement of this project is one of the important steps in completing the overall 1,545 hectares of industrial land that has been planned. When operational, the project will connect with neighboring industrial zones, contributing to the formation of an industrial growth pole in the southern part of the city, and concretizing the socio-economic development orientations in the new phase.
The city leaders requested the investor to develop a detailed implementation plan, mobilize sufficient resources and equipment to accelerate construction progress, and ensure the quality of the project, environmental factors, and ecological landscape. At the same time, it is necessary to coordinate with the Chu Lai Open Economic Zone Management Board and relevant agencies to promote investment, attract secondary businesses, and effectively utilize the industrial park land fund as soon as possible.
In addition, the city's authorities are requested to continue to accompany, support, and create favorable conditions for investors throughout the project implementation process. The Chu Lai Open Economic Zone Management Board needs to strengthen coordination with departments, sectors, and localities to promptly advise the City People's Committee on handling any arising difficulties.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Nguyen Duc Hai, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, emphasized that the groundbreaking ceremony not only signifies the implementation of a specific project but also demonstrates the determination of Da Nang city and the Central Vietnam key economic region in innovating the growth model and improving the quality and efficiency of economic development.
In the context of the global shift towards a green and digital economy, the Central leadership emphasized the need for proactive adaptation and no delay in the transformation process. Accordingly, industrial development orientation should focus on high-tech and advanced technologies, reducing emissions, adapting to climate change, and building a waste management and reuse system based on a circular model.
The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly also requested the city to continue directing efforts to remove obstacles and expedite administrative procedures, especially in compensation, land clearance, and resettlement. Simultaneously, it is necessary to continue attracting investment in the development of key infrastructure projects such as airports, seaports, and functional zones according to the plan, aiming to form a synchronized economic-industrial-urban-service-tourism ecosystem, contributing to improving the material and spiritual lives of the people.
For the project owner, the requirement is to focus on implementing the project while ensuring quality and safety, strictly adhering to environmental regulations; and at the same time actively attracting secondary investors, developing production, creating jobs, and contributing to social welfare in the locality.
