On May 13, 2020, the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa Province issued Decision No. 1642 / QD-UBND on the establishment of Hoang Son Industrial Cluster in Nong Cong District, Thanh Hoa Province with a total area of about 23.0 ha.
Accordingly, Hoang Son Industrial Cluster is located in Hoang Son commune, Nong Cong district, Thanh Hoa province, with the following specific boundary: the North borders on rice-growing land (35 kV power corridor); the East is adjacent to the irrigation ditch of Co Dam pumping station; the South borders on agricultural land; West: border with N25 corridor.
The main activities in the Industrial Cluster include: Electrical, electronic, telecommunication; textile and garment industry, leather shoes; food and beverage processing; wood processing (impregnated and paper); Production of building materials; agricultural processing; stationery; processing feed for cattle, poultry and aquatic animals; producing paper from recycled pulp (pulp raw materials are purchased from other units, not producing recycled pulp); production of plastic products (water, household and industrial sectors) provided that the raw materials for production are plastic resins; projects on the manufacture of metal products, metal components and accessories provided that there are no metallurgical processes, slag plating and other related industries in the production process.
Regarding the project implementation schedule: Phase 1 (2020 - 2022) infrastructure construction investment within a 10 ha land area, mainly completing legal procedures for investment, construction and planning details, basic design, ground clearance; environmental impact assessment report. Phase 2 (2022 - 2024) will invest in constructing infrastructure within the remaining 13 hectares of the project, investing in the construction of internal roads, sidewalks, high-voltage electricity systems, low voltage electricity system for production units and commercial services; water supply and drainage systems, fire protection systems, planting trees, building waste collection and treatment systems, investing in the construction of domestic and industrial wastewater treatment stations.
