Attracting green investment projects in Dong Nai

According to the Dong Nai Provincial Plan for the 2021-2030 period approved by the Government, by 2030, Dong Nai will invest in 17 new industrial parks, including a number of industrial parks with a large area such as Bau Can - Tan Hiep (2,000 hectares); Xuan Que - Song Nhan (1,819 hectares), in which the Provincial People's Committee has a very clear orientation to build green industrial parks to attract high-tech industries, and at the same time convert existing industrial parks into ecological industrial parks. With the orientation of developing green industrial parks in line with current investment trends, the projects have received the attention of many investors, especially foreign investors.

In mid-June 2024, Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee worked with Sojitz Group (Japan) on the plan to implement the Cooperation Project to develop a green and smart industrial park model in the period of 2024-2026. 

In addition, a number of domestic corporations such as Sovico, Saigon Tel, are also interested in and want to invest in green industrial park projects in Dong Nai. It is known that Saigon Tel is considering building a green industrial park model here with the goal of creating an industrial park that does not emit carbon and meets international standards.

According to Mr. Nguyen Huu Nguyen, Director of Dong Nai Department of Planning and Investment, in order to meet the needs of attracting investment in the coming time, Dong Nai has a policy of developing green projects, including the investment in new industrial parks in the direction of green and smart. At the same time, transforming the relocation function of Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park to limit environmental pollution in the inner city. When building green industrial parks, Dong Nai promises to be a bright "star" in attracting foreign investment and returning to the local position in the top of attracting foreign investment.
