The priority areas:
- Developing industrial parks into multi-industry industrial parks to maximize development resources, while promoting the existing advantages of industrial parks. ▪ Tay Ninh province is one of 6 provinces in the Southeast region, one of 9 provinces in the Southern key economic region.
▪ Tay Ninh province borders the following localities:
+ To the North and West, it borders 03 provinces of Cambodia, Svay Rieng, Prey Veng and Tbong Khmum through 240 km of border and 03 international border gates: Moc Bai, Xa Mat and Tan Nam and 10 secondary border gates;
+ To the East, it borders Binh Phuoc and Binh Duong provinces with the boundary being the Saigon River.
+ To the Southeast, it borders Ho Chi Minh City.
+ To the South, it borders Long An province.
▪ Located at the junction between Ho Chi Minh City and the capital Phnom Penh, Kingdom of Cambodia. Tay Ninh has a 240km long border with Cambodia with 03 international border gates (Moc Bai, Xa Mat, Tan Nam), 03 national border gates (Ka Tum, Chang Riec and Phuoc Tan), 10 secondary border gates and many open trails. This is a favorable condition to promote the economic development of border trade of Tay Ninh in particular, the provinces of the Southeast region in general with Cambodia and ASEAN countries.

Although it has a high average temperature (about 26 - 27oC), long sunshine (high total annual sunshine hours, an average of 2,500 - 2,700 hours/year, about 6.8-7.4 hours/day), especially in the dry season, Tay Ninh has the largest potential for solar power development in the region and in the high group of the whole country.
- Water: Tay Ninh province depends mainly on the operation of two major rivers flowing through it, the Saigon River and the Vam Co Dong River. In addition, the province has Dau Tieng irrigation reservoir with an area of 27,000 hectares, a capacity of 1.58 billion m3 of water, 3/4 of the lake area belongs to Tay Ninh province, the rest belongs to Binh Duong province; Dau Tieng reservoir not only serves irrigation, domestic and industrial water supply but is also an area where tourism and services can be organized to attract tourists and develop solar power.

The province has organized many promotional activities, gradually affirming the quality and brand of Tay Ninh tourism with a focus on Ba Den mountain national tourist area, spreading to neighboring tourist destinations. In Tay Ninh province, there are 02 National Highways with a total length of about 132km, including: - Trans-Asia Highway (National Highway 22): the section through Tay Ninh province is 28km long with a scale of level II road, road surface width from 16-18m; National Highway 22B and extended National Highway 22B: from Go Dau to Xa Mat International Border Gate - Chang Riec main border gate, 104km long, scale of level III-IV road.
In addition, the province has 35 provincial roads with a total length of about 734km; 187 district roads with a total length of about 1,020km; 2,127 commune roads with a total length of about 3,889km and 450 urban main roads with a length of about 404km.
Connection between the national highway system and provincial roads: The road network has basically formed good internal connections to help goods circulate within the region from urban to rural areas. The province's traffic system has formed relatively complete North-South traffic axes (QL.22 - QL.22B, DT.784 - DT.793, DT.785, DT.786...) and some East-West connecting axes in the northern districts (DT.794 - Thien Ngon Tan Hiep, DT.795, DT.781).

Tay Ninh province's waterway system includes 2 national inland waterways, rivers, canals and reservoirs managed by the locality.
National inland waterways: Tay Ninh province has 02 national inland waterways including: Saigon - Ben Keo route on the Vam Co Dong river (142.9km long with level III standards, currently with 4 ports in operation) and Saigon - Ben Suc - Ben Cui route on the Saigon river (35km long, currently investing in the Logistics Center project, dry port and general port). These are two very important waterways of the province connecting Tay Ninh with Ho Chi Minh City, the Southern Key Economic Zone, and the Mekong Delta. Currently, the clearance of Binh Loi railway bridge has been raised, clearing the channel will help Tay Ninh develop waterway traffic strongly on this route.
Local inland waterways: The waterway system managed by Tay Ninh province includes: Vam Co Dong River (from Ben Keo to Vam Trang Trau) with a length of 53.8km, the current exploitation standard is equivalent to a level IV waterway (planned as a national inland waterway); Trang Bang canal with a length of 10.05km, currently has no port; Tay Ninh canal with a total length of 25km, currently has no port; Bao canal is 4.1km long, currently has no port; Ben Da canal is 35km long, currently has no port.
In addition, there are 02 large lakes (Dau Tieng Lake and Tha La Reservoir with a large water surface area that can be exploited for eco-tourism and agricultural product transportation of local people) and a number of small canals and streams mainly serving the needs of local people to transport agricultural products such as Bau Nau canal; Da Hang canal; Son canal.

There are currently 04 inland waterway ports in operation in the province, including: 2 cargo ports (Ben Keo Port and Thanh Phuoc Port) and 2 specialized ports (LPG Port and Fico Cement Port), specifically:
- Ben Keo Port (cargo port): Currently receiving vehicles with a maximum draft of 3.8m, wharf length of 80m.
- Thanh Phuoc Port (cargo port): Currently a container port with an area of 54 hectares, including a port warehouse of 47.8 hectares, a public service commercial area of 7.16 hectares. The port receives vehicles with a maximum draft of 4.2m, wharf length of 80m.
- LPG Port (specialized port): Currently receiving vehicles with a maximum draft of 3.1m, wharf length of 54m.
- Fico Cement Port (specialized port): Currently accepts vehicles with a maximum draft of 3.5m, wharf length of 240m.

Power system: Tay Ninh area is supplied with electricity directly from two sources: Thac Mo hydroelectric power and Tri An hydroelectric power. Currently, 100% of communes in the province have electricity, 62.35% of households use electricity. Average electricity output per capita is 175Kwh/person/year. The number of rural households with electricity is 60%. The province is preparing to increase the capacity of Trang Bang station to sell electricity to Svay-ri-eng province of Cambodia.
