* Forest resources: The area of forest land in the city accounts for 62,921 hectares, mainly concentrated in the west and northwest of the city, including 3 types of forests: special-use forests: 32,695 hectares; protection forest: 8,566 hectares; production forest: 21,660 hectares. Forests in Da Nang are concentrated mainly in the west wing of Hoa Vang district, a few in Lien Chieu, Son Tra and Ngu Hanh Son districts. The coverage rate is 42.5%, the wood reserve is about 3 million m3 and distributed mainly in places with steep slopes and complex terrain. * Mineral resources: Da Nang is home to large reserves of rock and sand.
