In Dak Nong province,only Cu Jut solar power plant has been put into operation at the end of September 2019. Cu Jut Power Plant is invested by Central Hydropower Joint Stock Company with a capacity of 50MW, with a total investment of VND 1,367 billion. The plant is expected to have a turn over of about VND 200 billion/annually with an electricity output of over 90 million kWh/year. Dak Nong People's Committee has added 3 additional solar power projects to the plan.
Besides, Truc Sonsolar power project is also starting in Cu Jut district. Dak Nong Province People's Committee approved the investment policy of Truc Son’s solar powerproject since April 2018. Truc Son solar power plant with a total investment ofVND 1,107 billion, invested by Univergy K.K Company, Europe Clean Enegies JapanK.K Company and Youth Media Group Joint Stock Company. Truc Son solar power plant with a capacity of 44.4 MW will soon go into operation in 2020.
On 12/11, Mr. Luu Van Trung, Director of Department of Planning and Investment of Dak Nong Province,said that the Duc An Solar Power Plant Project has an investment capacity of 30MW, with land use area estimated around 37 ha. The status of the land is cleanland managed by Dak Song District People's Committee. Currently, there are a number of households encroaching on agricultural land and scattering some pinetrees. Total investment capital is estimated at about VND 800 billion; including ground clearance compensation expenses that investors must return to the government according to regulations.
