Nghi Son Economic Zone (Nghi Son EZ) was established by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 102 / QD-TTg dated May 15, 2006, located in the southern part of Thanh Hoa province, on the north-south axis of Vietnam, 200 km far from Hanoi, is a bridge connecting the Northern region with the Central, Northwest and Southern regions, and the markets of Southern Laos and Northeast Thailand.

- Nghi Son EZ: Applying the preferential tax rate of 10% for 15 years, tax exemption for 4 years and reducing 50% of payable tax amount for the next 9 years.
- For investment projects to expand production scale, raise capacity, renew technologies (meeting the criteria prescribed in Decree 218/2013 / ND-CP of December 26, 2013) details and guidelines for implementation of the Law on Enterprise Income Tax) that are selected for tax incentives under the current project for the remaining period (if any) or exempted or reduced for the additional income due to expanded investment yielded. The time for tax exemption or reduction for the additional income from investment expansion is equal to the tax exemption and reduction period applicable to new investment projects.
